Representative Zach Nunn seemingly confused his staff by switching up the details of his private meeting in Jefferson today. The event was first published as a community forum, before being updated to ensure constituents knew it was a “private meeting” after Iowans shared plans to attend and question their representative on his harmful votes. “Rep. Nunn has yet to hold a public town hall since being elected to Congress,” Mazie Stilwell, executive director of Progress Iowa, said. “The quick correction that the event was private and rescheduling that apparently left those staffing him in the dark makes it all more apparent that Nunn is willing to do whatever it takes to run from his constituents and avoid talking to Iowans paying the consequences of his votes.”
