IOWANS TO DECLARE PEOPLE’S CONDITION OF STATE AT UPCOMING EVENTS

folder_openNews

Iowans will join together to declare the ‘People’s Condition of the State’ at events in the coming days, in advance of the state’s legislative session.

Working families, small business owners, and local elected officials will speak at events in seven locations to stand up for what Iowans need to take care of our communities, and to stand together in opposition to the corporate greed being prioritized by Governor Reynolds and the Republican-led legislature.

People’s Condition of the State events will take place in six locations across Iowa. Host organizations for the People’s Condition of the State events include: AFSCME Council 61, Health Care for America Now Iowa, Interfaith Alliance of Iowa, Iowa Citizen Action Network, Iowa Main Streets and Country Roads, Lower Drug Prices Now Iowa, Progress Iowa, and Tax March Iowa.
