Progress Iowa Executive Director Matt Sinovic issued the following statement in response to Special Counsel Robert Mueller delivering his report on the Russia investigation to Attorney General Barr:
“The time for talk from Senator Ernst is over. It’s time for her to sign on to Senator Grassley’s bipartisan legislation requiring the Mueller report be made public. Every Iowan and American has the right to know what was discovered: the good, the bad, and the ugly. Ernst has talked a good game about the need for the report to be made public. But now we expect her to act.”
Recent research conducted by Public Policy Polling shows that 74% of Iowans want Senator Ernst to support the full and public release of the Mueller report.
