Will Iowans hold Senators Grassley and Ernst accountable?
This week Senators Chuck Grassley and Joni Ernst will hold public town hall meetings across the state. Will you be there to hold them accountable?
Both Senator Grassley and Senator Ernst have fallen in line with President Trump, voting with him 100% of the time during his first month in office, and this is the first time constituents will have the opportunity to question them in person. Trump and Congressional Republicans are moving to repeal health insurance for 240,000 in our state under the Affordable Care Act, as well as fast-tracking Trump’s Supreme Court nominee after spending last year obstructing the courts. Grassley and Ernst have both voted for all of Trump’s cabinet appointments, including the controversial Betsy DeVos, who received historic bipartisan opposition for her nomination as Education Secretary.
