“Today we witnessed a transition from hope to fear.”
“From a country where we hope for and expect the best of one another, to a leader who incites fear and division among us.”
“From the hope that all Americans should have a fair shot, to the fear that working families will be left behind.”
“From the hope that all Americans are equal, to the fear that some may be persecuted because of skin color, birthplace, gender, or who they choose to love.”
“Our country is at it’s best when we inspire hope, and refuse to incite fear of one another. And despite today’s transition, we will fight every day to create a more hopeful future for every American.”
